I could sleep forever these days...

Two ravens in the old oak tree and

One for you and one for me and

Bluebells in the late December

I see signs now all the time

The last time we slept together

There was something that was not there

You never wanted to alarm me

But Im the one thats drowning now

I could sleep forever these days

Because in my dreams I see you again

But this time fleshed out fuller faced

In your confirmation dress

It was so like you to visit me

To let me know you were ok

It was so like you to visit me

You always worried about someone else

At your funeral I was so upset

So upset so upset

In your life you were larger than this

Statue-statuesque

I see signs now all the time

That youre not dead, you're sleeping

I believe in anything

That brings you back home to me

I see signs now all the time

That youre not dead, you're sleeping

I believe in anything

That brings you back home to me.

some interpretation of the song... the thing about language, is that a lot of it happens in imagination.

u all, have some refreshing sleep. May it NOT be of escapism

and rule 6
I am the diva here. I always have the last say, but usually I believe in democracy.
there are other sleeping revolutions that you can join.

dreams unlived, yet: 3 good friends in the spur of a moment

I was talking to Paul today over gtalk and complaining a bit about work. He asked me 'don't you want to start out something yourself?' I was like.. 'u mean like a revolution?' I mean Rachael and Yinky have been very instrumental in my dreams with their friendship, music, encouragement and dreamy status. And the Oasis song popped right into my head.

start a revolution from my BED.

well in the spur of a moment I replied Paul 'ah, a revolution from my bed! wow a sleeping revolution!' and moments later, Joel shared some work related dreams and his dreams while noble, r not exciting for me. I was really getting into the mood for this sleeping revolution.

I've had dreams and desires to do different movements, been involved with boring and exciting social movement networks, from HIV to religious ones to mainstream youth related, etc. But this one is pretty new and very workable. Nobody starts a movement that aims to do NOTHING. This is it. this is the coolest revolution u can ever take part in. And its the easiest-or the hardest.

The yummy lyrics Slip inside the eye of your mind
Don't you know you might find
A better place to play
You said that you'd never been
But all the things that you've seen
Will slowly fade away

So I start a revolution from my bed
'Cos you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside, summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
You ain't ever gonna burn my heart out

And so Sally can wait, she knows it's too late as we're walking on by
Her soul slides away, but don't look back in anger I heard you say

Take me to the place where you go
Where nobody knows if it's night or day
But please don't put your life in the hands
Of a Rock n Roll band
Who'll throw it all away

I'm gonna start a revolution from my bed
'Cos you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside 'cos summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
'Cos you ain't ever gonna burn my heart out

So Sally can wait, she knows it's too late as she's walking on by
My soul slides away, but don't look back in anger I heard you say

So Sally can wait, she knows it's too late as we're walking on by
Her soul slides away, but don't look back in anger I heard you say

So Sally can wait
She knows it's too late as shes walking on by
My soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
Don't look back in anger
I heard you say

At least not today
